The villa is located in La Cruz. On the Map to the left you will see La Cruz de Huanacaxtle towards the top of the map.  The exact location is about where the "de" is in "La Cruz de Huanacaxtle".  You will see Puerto Vallarta farther down on the map.  The whole area that you see that is in lighter gray is all Puerto Vallarta.  The villa is about 15-20 minutes from the airport.  The public transportation runs virtually around the entire bay.  The bus stop is right at the end of our road.

Puerto Vallarta is located on the Pacific (West) side of Mainland Mexico.  It is on the beautiful Bay of Banderas.  About midway down the country, it is between the towns of Mazatlan and Acapulco.  Puerto Vallarta is at the same latitude as the Hawaiian Islands.   The climate of Mexico is ideal year round, but winter is the most popular time of year because of the mild temperatures.  Temps average highs in the 80's October through April.  Summertime temperatures average highs in the 90's.

Although most major airlines come into Puerto Vallarta, you may want to look into a travel agency that does charters.  That seems to be the best deal to get to Mexico these days - usually with non-stop service at reasonable fares.  PVR is the airport code.  The villa is located about 15 minutes North of the airport.
